Update :

Just last night at Blk 10 level 3 multi-storey carpark, Jon Yen discovered several vehicles that have been vandalised after he had parked his own car.

Car #1 stained with paint

Car #2 lined with black spray paint

Car #3 scratched with some form of sharp object

If you see any suspicious person lurking around the neighbourhood or large group gathering late at night around, please do contact the police or send us any more updates.

Afraid of your car getting vandalised as well?

CPL Lim, a police from the neighbourhood, has been kind enough to give some tips to us about how to prevent vandalism, not just for cars but also for our homes. here's how:

  • Park your car at a well-lit area.
  • Do not park your car at an isolated area/with little vehicles around.
  • Make sure to keep doors and window locked and not expose any bags or valuables at the windows.
  • Live in a terrace house? Make sure to keep all gates and garages locked at night.
  • Keep all doors, windows and gates locked to prevent vandals from entering property.
  • Install surveillance cameras that are out of reach and cannot be tampered with. Place them near places that have been targeted by vandalism or outside homes for security.
  • Always alert and notify your neighbours, this will increase awareness and make them alert about suspicious activities or people.
